Admissions

Thank you for showing interest in our school. Our admissions process goes through the prospective child's local authority via a formal consultation and families need to contact their SEN officer to request this.

All our students require an EHCP in place to be considered for our school.

The Mile House Therapeutic School is a day therapeutic school for boys and girls aged 11 - 16. We are a special school that caters for the needs of pupils who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH), including associated challenging behaviours. Many of the pupils attending the school have additional special educational needs such as autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit and hyperactive disorders (ADHD) which may affect their speech and language development. Places for pupils are commissioned at the school by several local authorities.

More information can be found in our Admissions Policy document.
